Okay so not much to report but yesterday I went to AIMS at 5:30 for my half hour interview one with the people from DC. I met with Dr. Taylor, Dr. Swant and Dr. Blane. All three of them were very nice and told me that they were excited to meet me and asked me to tell them about myself. I did and they talked and we discussed what i wanted from my schooling and all that kind of stuff and that was happy. I spent a half hour talking to them and after that half hour I was cut off because that is what they believed was a good amount of time to make a first impression. So hopefully it went well and that made me smile. So i thought i would share. The picture is simply the outfit I wore to try to look all professional and teacher like!
For the love of writing and the love of telling people what I think, I have come back to my old blog. Previously known as Jacquie's Deep thoughts I am revamping it to create Mommy Mouse Clubhouse. I am so excited to jump back into blogging!!!

September 27th two years down a life time to go

On septemeber 27th I woke up, that was step one. September 27th as everyone knows is very close to me and it being the two year aniversary was hard. I had a day planned of things and to be honest the best part of that was that was if I didnt stop going I didnt have to think about what day it was and maybe just maybe I could get through it without crying. That was a lost idea. As I was getting dressed to go to the St. Judes fair at chilis I decided that In honor of the day I was going to wear my PCHS Seniors shirt. It was fitting. As I looked at myself in the mirror I started it, I got a littl teared up but I was late so I grabbed sunglasses to make sure noone would see me cry at work. I must admit I did cry almost all the way to work. However when I got there I felt better and my friends at work were so sweet. They all kept me laughing and soon I was fine. Nick joined me at the fair as a volenteer. We paintd faces played gmes listened to music all that fun stuff. It was a great day and a perfect lasst memory to have with my chilis Family. As it ended I jumped into Minnie and called mom it was detrmined that w would met at flat irons to head to CSU. When we got there Nick and I got our Team Ayden Shirts and we followed all of us to the campus. We were by far the biggest team there. I spent tim seeing Ayden and palying with him in ice fights and just talking. Ayden is an amazing talker for his age. I played with Anna and then the walk started. When I saww all the balloons lit up and Ayden so strong and incredible I cryed again. Nick grabbed my waist and let me cry. I cryed for Emily and the day but I cryed even more for the strenghth of all of these people and they are all so amazing and look at all these balloons. It was incredible. In the end I went home with my family and spent the night and next day in Bailey with Joh and Sean and it was perfect. I love when I get to go hom and be with them. I love you guys! I love you emily and We all miss you every day. I know some people may read this and think I should get over it but the pain of that day will live with me forever so I will cry a few tears every year on the 27th of September and that is allowed that is not dwelling on it tht is remembering it and giving it the respect it deserves.
I love you all
*I love u guys*

Alot better
So let me start with saying Im sorry for the mental breakdown I guess it neeeded to happen but I feel MUCHHHHH better. So anyway since that whole ordeal I have been Busy Busy Sissy!!! I started my new job at Red Lobster and I do love it. Due to my great people skills, and quick learning I was advanced to on my own serving by Tuesday. So on Tuesday I ventured out to the floor on my own and did really well, Thursday brought a double as did friday as did saturday and you guessed it as did Sunday. I wont complain though the one week I worked brought me roughly $500. So GO ME!!! The very sad point of this is because I am good at serving my boss wants me on her staff and hers only she wants me every night I can and the afternoons I can. After serious debate I put my two weeks notice in at Chilis. This is so hard for me and I know it will be so hard for me to continue to do for the next couple months but Brinker/ Chilis offered me my first real home in a job and I thank them for that but I have to do what I have to do to get the bills paid. So after St. Jude ends on the 1st as does my Chilis Career. Very sad sad day... So I turned in my new avalibility to the lobster and I now will be working Tuesday 11-3 Wednesday about 5- cut Thursday all day (with the break in between for my thurday class Friday nights Saturday all day, and Sunday all day WHEW!!! Also strating for me is my student teaching. My EDU class introduced our class to the big world of teaching early. So on Sunday after I got off work I drove up to Bailey to do my first day. I was with the kids of Joh's 2nd grade class from 9 AM to 3:30 PM and I have to admit after I did that I remembered why I set my goals to a HS teacher. =) So now I have decided to spend one last night in Bailey with my family before I head home sweet home tommorrow morning to you guessed it... work and then go to class at 4:30 and then do some homework until ten and then probably die on my couch to get up on wednesday and do it all over. Why is it I find myself the happiest when I have no time to stop going? I dont know myabe it is just the taste of home I need to keep me happy. love to all
J
oh yeah and before you all flip I do take mondays off of everything but school to do homework chill and of course tune into One Tree Hill.

college life
I am sitting here all on my own in a very new computer lab and I have finally gotten through all of my classes at least once. This is all so different to me. Being from a very small town myself I am very un-used to the big town and the big schools and the very large campus. To me I am the little mouse that lived in her little hillbilly life and one day decided to travel to the city. This paper is not only the first college paper I have written but also the first paper I have written since High School English three semesters ago and for that reason I find myself nervous that I am writing it so easily. This reflection is supposed to be about the changes I have gone through the differences and maybe even the things I thought would change and have not, well…how much time do you have? To be quite frank this changes thing that we are supposed to tell about has not been something I thought would happen overnight and for me has been happening long before this first semester started here at Aims. Since I graduated from High School in May I have moved out of my home the one I grew up in and left my family. Packed everything I owned into a moving truck kissed my mom and Dad and moved into a four bedroom house in what my mom and I call “cookie cutter land.” That was the first of the big changes. Being from the mountains I am not used to looking into my backyard and seeing three other houses, or opening my front door and feeling like the people across the street can see everything I am doing. Then I have to admit, and how childish this is going to sound, I miss my mom so much. She is my best friend and when I lost her in my life every day I didn’t really know what to do with myself. I felt lost and to be quite honest I felt so different. When the bills started and the two jobs to cover the bills started I actually began to settle in, strange I know the thing that most people hate the most is what made me feel the most at home and the most adult. Then Aims started and that was really the least of my changes. I had classes not four like in High School but still five was not bad, I had friends, and I had teachers and really good teachers too. The thing I found so much easier than I ever thought would be possible was that the class sizes were no bigger than the classes in my little “ho-dunk” town of Bailey. They all were able to fit less than thirty into the door and the teachers actually knew my name. That was so unexpected but the most pleasant of surprises. The only true obstacle I never expected to be as hard as it has been is not having my mom. She is my support system and her being one hundred plus miles away and me not being able to see her and do my homework with her on those days when we would just sit in the kitchen her cooking me pretending to work but really just talking away with her that is the hardest part of it all. That is probably the obstacle I need to over come, learning how to do it all on my own. It is going to be so hard but I know that I want to succeed and I want to make her proud and my Dad proud and everyone else who, to be honest never saw me making it to college, proud. That alone will be my pushing edge and that is going to be my fire and that is going to be the easiest way to get through all of these changes.

Gosh I suck at this game!
So agian I am sorry for how long it has been! My life is begining to be SO busy! I have 5 weeks left of high school! (Gulp) and alot to do! We finally have roomates for the house finalized, it is Me, Nick, Paul (nicks BF) and Kat (My BF) We had an offical meeting about it last friday and made rules and set everything down, We began talking about moving dates (June 14th) and finalizing contract dates ( May 19th) and of course School starting (mine is not until Sept. 4th woot) So it was decided and we all are getting very pumped for what is yet to come! Last week was dull, work school, work, school, musical, blah blah, blah =) Then came Thursday, supposed to be a good day! NOT! Kat and I woke up early to go eat at Cuthroat before school because we had late arrival that day for CSAP. (Seniors dont have to be at school until 9) So we ate and it looked like We were actually going to be to school
early. I get there and begin pulling into my assigned spot (after the shooting for safety thay began assigning parking spots) but I guess I was not supposed to do that because as I begin the turn a big ol truck desides hey now would be a cool time to back up and BAM! Right into my baby! "Son of a B****!" I get out check out the damage and call mom who tells me I need to go get one of the cops out of the school and file an acciednt report, About then the girl that hit me begins begging me not to do this because , dun dun dun dun, she GOT HER LICENCE THE DAY BEFORE!!! Now I'm even more pissed! My car is financed and therefore in the state of Colorado it is Illigal for there to be ANYTHING wrong with it! If she isnt gonna pay for it who is? So I feel like a jerk but I go inside and file the report. On my way into the school my speech coach informs me that my partner is ineligable (fancy for failing) and cannot go to Nationals THE NEXT DAY! Now I'm really upset, here come the tears. By the end of first period I dont know weather to be so angry I can't stand strait or so upset I want to do nothing more then go into my pillow and cry sweet sweet tears. However by the end of the day my partner was good to go, and my mom had worked something out with the girls mom.

However by the end of the day my partner was good to go, and my mom had worked something out with the girls mom. Friday came and with pride and excitment I got onto the bus with 16 other members of the team (the ones that qualified for nationals, if this seems like a big number remember our orignal team size is 75 people) We got on and headed to THE WESTIN! The school paid for AMAZING rooms in this hotel and then off to nationals. Although Brooke and I only made it three rounds befoe being knocked out we did get offered a $1000.00 scholarship to the school of our choice. That was beyond exciting.
Saturday night Mom and I drove to the amazing womens home who donated 200 Alliance 4 Ayden bracelets and got those! We are selling them for $3 each and all the profit goes to Ayden to help him fight his Leukemia. Then That night as mom was at a friends house I visited Alli, Ayden, and Anna who were all doing amazing. Ayden though was kind of moody. To cheer him up we played on the Kitchen floor with Jelly beans and when Alli decided this was not a good idea we began trying to make hoops into each others mouths with popcorn, And as it tends to do with two year olds it got kinda out of hand, we soon began a huge food fight and Ayden was laughing and kissing and we all had so much fun you would never guess he was sick. It was amazing, You are so strong Ayden I love you so much!
Sunday brought bright sunny skies and Football. Joh is playing flag football and it soon became cold and windy. That was over quickly though. But then after that as promised mom took me to find the PERFECT prom dress. We went to Davids Bridal and I must say it is PERFECT!!! I cant talk about it too much as I know Nick reads the blog and my dress MUST be a total suprise to him! Emmy said it looks amazing and mom loved it alot too. Anna crawled under it and laughed so I think she liked it. I LOVE it. It truly is THE PERFECT prom dress. I want to throw out there Alli thank you so much for giving some money for the dress! It is perfect and you SO did not have to do that! I love you Alli! Em thank you for going, I know maybe it wasnt in the plan but I am SO glad you were there, Mom thank you for the incredible dress, it is going to be a night to remember, I know it. I have to say though, as I was sitting at dinner, I looked at Anna and smiled, I know that I will blink and she will be 18 and we will be all together and still friends. And I'll go with her to help her find the PERFECT prom dress and I will smile and think of today,
and then I couldn't help but think by then I might have a little girl who will crawl under her dress and laugh and we will know it is the PERECT dress and her night will be incredable too.
and then I couldn't help but think by then I might have a little girl who will crawl under her dress and laugh and we will know it is the PERECT dress and her night will be incredable too. I have to say that even as I wrote opn one of my blogs on here, when everything in my life seemed to be going wrong, with Grandma being so sick and Ayden being so sick, I lost all faith and wondered Why God would ever do something so terrible, I have to say that in the last couple of days, I got it! I actually gained faith, Ayden is doing amazing and Grandma is back to outliving us all. Maybe that was the plan all along, to bring faith back into some lives and to make us apreciate the small things in life and never take ANYTHING for granted. I love you all so much and I must say okay I get it now.

Ah Ah Ah Ah Stayin alive!!

Okay to start with The title is the song I have stuck in my head so It has ABSOLUTLY NOTHING to do with this blog. Just stuck in my head. Wednesday after I wrote I went with mom and Sean and Joh to take sean to Ty Kwan Do and while he was working off calories mom joh and I decided to add some to ourselves and went to Baskin Robins and had some yummy ice cream treats. Then we ran to The store and got Sissy Some boxes. (More on that further down the line) Okay So On Thursday I had my choir concert and it went so well, I had a blast I read the introduction to Dance Elvolution and then the dance turned out perfect! Walt was proud which made us all very happy. Then on Friday as promised by Otteson We all packed up onto Bus 5 and took a feild trip to The Denver Capital (The day looked like it was going to be good as the evil bus drivers were not my bus driver) The Capital was BEYOND boring and as my BFF and I discussed we would have rathered listen to Otteson for the time in his class then go but all well it wasnt so terrible. We went on four diffrent tours and got to meet one of colorados Senators who was a very nice man begging to be re elected lol. Brooke and I have our own inside jokes about that but the key word there was inside so lol. I thought it was fasinating however when We got to sit in on the Senete and listen and we were in the room when the Bill about
the memoriale Highway for Gov. Carr was passed so that was very cool and I felt like part of CO history when I read the buzz about it on pine cam. Then we took the long hike back up to the tip top of the capital and played in the dome for like a half hour as Brooke and I read about the people Nomes was in charge of telling us who we were "on top of" a stupid teenager game we thought was funny. The day couldnt stay amazing as I was an hour late to work when the compter clock LYED to me, the boss was not happy. All well Stuff happens.
at 5:30 this morning the phone rang, thinking it was Daddy to tell Mom good morning I ignored it but it was awsome it was a school cancellation! Woot Woot SLEEP in time! Whe I woke up I made Nick help me begin to pack, I got like 25 boxes and decided we would pack up my closet so when it came time to move I had already gradully packed it all up. Always thinking. After that we were called for dinner. Thank God mommy knows me and didnt make Corned Beef (even though it is St. Pattys day) I HATE corned beef! Thank you mom! When all was cleaned up we had the eggs boiled and we dyed our eggs. This was a blast and I found my honey is not just an artist on paper he is with his eggs too. They all
look Awsome! Well I am ready to go check my email, myspace and pinecam and then call it good night.

That all sucked so move past it.
Sunday it was off to work and then when I got off of work I drove brute down to Grandmas and met mom and Nick there, Nick and I galloped off to have him fit for his Tux for Prom and I gazed at which dress I will soon drag mom and Em and Ali out to buy. I am in love with three of them so mom and the girls will have to help me pick the best one ever but all I know is I LOVE THEM!!! After the mean Orange Julius lady told me she would not make the drink I requested we headed home in the snow and wind.
